Her warmth, genuine hospitality, and great conversation set the tone for an amazing experience. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. Evelyn was also fantastic—so helpful in guiding us through the menu and making sure we picked the perfect dishes. The food itself? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and served with love. "Really cool and great BBQ joint. Brisket was juicy and perfectly smoked. The collars greens out of this world. Homemade corn fritters flavorful and non greasy. The place is spotless and the bathroom immaculate. I rarely put 4 stars all the way, but when people care that much an every level, that really need to be said and value. Super nice and accommodating host and very raisonnably priced."

"We were driving home to South Florida from Tampa and stopped at Smokin DJ’s BBQ based on reviews. Ya’ll did not disappoint! The food was amazing. What a great small town BBQ joint! The pulled pork was so tender and flavorful! The ribs had a great smoky flavor, great char and so tender! Between all of us we had the Mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, collard greens for sides and all of them were awesome! Definitely recommend!"
